The Journey to Myself
I'm an internationally recognized private yoga instructor known for my passion, unique approach, and inspirational instructing style that embodies physical, spiritual, and mental strength.
Over the past decade, I've embarked on a transformative journey across the globe, immersing myself in the world of yoga and holistic wellness. While my connection with yoga dates back to my childhood, it wasn't until 2004 that I truly committed to deepening my practice. This decision marked a significant turning point in my life as yoga gradually evolved from a hobby into a profound passion and a guiding philosophy.
In 2010, I embarked on a soul-stirring expedition to India, a pivotal experience during which I had the privilege of studying under the guidance of my revered guru, Vijay Manja. During this time, I delved into the intricacies of Ashtanga yoga and the profound teachings of the Sanskrit language, enriching my understanding of yoga's ancient roots. Additionally, my time in southern India provided me with the opportunity to explore the profound wisdom of Ayurvedic medicine, further broadening my holistic approach to well-being.
Upon coming to the United States, I dedicated myself to further education and training in various aspects of yoga and holistic health. I engaged in rigorous sessions on Yoga Therapy, Pilates, Yoga Anatomy, Health and Nutrition, Ayurveda, Yoga Philosophy, Meditation, and Pranayama. These comprehensive pieces of training culminated in completing a Clinical Yoga Therapy Program at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, solidifying my expertise in utilizing yoga as a therapeutic modality for healing and wellness.
My approach to yoga is deeply rooted in integrating practice's physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. In my classes, I prioritize teaching the profound art of conscious breathing, believing it to be the cornerstone of holistic well-being. By seamlessly blending body movements, breath awareness, and meditative practices, I aim to foster a profound understanding of the interconnectedness of these elements in nurturing personal health and wellness.
Furthermore, I feel a profound sense of responsibility to share yoga therapy's transformative tools and teachings with my clients, friends, and family. My ultimate goal as a Yoga therapist is to empower individuals to embark on their unique journeys toward holistic wellness, encompassing physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual growth. Through effective yoga techniques and compassionate guidance, I aspire to contribute positively to the well-being of my yoga community and beyond.
A Life of Balance
Since I started teaching in 2010, many health and wellness specialists have sought my insights and expertise. The foundation of my practice combines the physical with an inner, emotional, and spiritual journey. In my class, I teach primarily the breathing technique; by integrating body, breath, movement, and meditative awareness, I strive to promote an understanding of the interdependency of all these aspects in personal health and well-being.
